La Cumbre To Coroico - 1 day

Yolosa in the tropical region called "Yungas", the region, which separates the High Andes from the Amazon Basin, is a mass of stunning valleys that lies on the transition zone between humid lowlands and the drier highlands. There is an endless variety of fascinating landscapes, from lush steaming tropical lowland jungles to ethereal cloud forests brimming with amazing wildlife and an incomparable tranquility. Enjoy this downhill ride from the Hualata Cohani pass near the imposing Illampu Massif that finishes in the calm and delightful town of Sorata. This colonial town is located in a valley at the foot of the giant snow-capped peaks of Illampu 6363mts (20870 ft) and Ancohuma 6427mts (21080 ft). However, being at an altitude of only 2678 mts (8783 ft), Sorata has a sub-tropical climate and is surrounded by lush green vegetation and valleys making it an excellent place to relax and laze around.
